JETSETTER - 50% off an exceptional 2-night getaway package in Bangkok for two!

Make history and fly to space... for a life changing experience!...

What is the ultimate jetsetter destination? Space. I am extremely excited and proud to present to you THE DEAL OF A LIFE TIME.

Just writing about it almost feels like writing about science fiction except it is very real. As you know, we've been flying to space for more than 40 years now and the world's first commercial space line, Virgin Galactic, is almost ready to launch.

For the first - and ONLY the first - 88 people to purchase this deal, Twangoo has tickets for this amazing opportunity to make history in one of the greatest inventions of all time! Now read this - it all comes at an amazingly small fraction of the listed price: a sub-orbital space flight with Virgin Galactic for USD1,900 (Yes you read that correctly - that's about HKD15,000!!!!) instead of USD200,000. This extraordinary experience will consist of a two-hour end-to-end flight, to the edge of space and back to earth, with approximately six minutes of weightlessness, experiencing the freedom of zero gravity.

The man behind this incredible adventure? The famed Sir Richard Branson, well-known for his many successful ventures and his desire to live life to the fullest and make his dreams come true.

If you've ever dreamed of becoming an astronaut (who hasn't??) your opportunity has come. Last October, Virgin Galactic completed a flawless test flight of the world's first manned commercial spaceflight.

In 2012, this technical feat will transform someone like you or me into pioneering astronauts and literally send them out of this world. You may be wondering how all this is possible. Sir Richard Branson has been wanted to go into space ever since watching the TV footage of the first moon landing in 1969. From the mid 1990s, Virgin looked at many plans for potential space launch vehicles. All were rejected.
It all changed when, in 2004, the aerospace engineer Burt Rutan (the inventor of Voyager, the first plane to fly around the world non-stop) designed the sub-orbital space plane SpaceShipOne (SS1) and entered the realm of space twice within a two week period. SS1 worked and its unique features fully validated Virgin's uncompromisingly high standards of safety.

The main difference between Virgin Galactic's spaceship, SpaceShipTwo (SS2 based on SS1 but with a larger passenger cabin) and other spacecrafts?

The aeronautical genius had the idea of release the spaceship from the air instead of launching it vertically from the ground. Ground launch comes with intrinsic dangers: the craft has to pass trough the lower, denser regions of the atmosphere with rocket motor exhaust spewing beneath it at high velocity. All of this is now avoided. The aircraft is air-launched from around 50,000 feet, already above most of the atmosphere, and the rocket motor only has to burn for a short time in order to reach space. Safety is what Virgin global transportation is all about.

They hold formidable safety records and Virgin Galaxy will be no exception.

Let me tell you more about this life-changing experience.

The adventure starts with 3 days of pre-flight preparation, bonding with your fellow future astronauts and crew, and training onsite at Spaceport America in New Mexico (included in your Twangoo of course). You'll experience centrifuge force and learn how to make the most of your time in zero gravity. I simply can't imagine the intensity of these few days, with the anticipation building up. Probably quite surreal.

You're now ready to savor every second of your spaceflight on SS2.

SS2 is the only spacecraft-like vehicle that has already sent humans into space. 60 feet long, it will carry 6 passengers and 2 pilots in a spacious 90'' diameter cabin. Every passenger gets the same seating position with 2 large windows: one side window and one overhead, so that in case you want to float free, you'll still get the incredible view.

The inspiring journey... I am going to repeat Burt Rutan's story from his own experience. (Sorry, I exceptionally didn't have the time to try this Twangoo voucher, busy week... :)).

The spaceship will be carried to about 16km or 52,000 feet, mounted between the wings of a carrier aircraft. When it reaches that altitude, the spaceship will separate from the mothership and a rocket motor will boost the ship into space. The rocket engine ignites and for a minute and a half or so, the breathtaking acceleration is like nothing you've ever experienced, 3.5 times the speed of sound, to around 300 mph! The soft blue atmosphere melts into the black infinity of space. At the atmosphere's edge the large windows show the sky turning from blue cobalt to black.

The motor then shuts down and in the tranquility of space you get the thrill of instant weightlessness. You're in orbit. The gravity which has dominated every moment since the day you were born is no longer there, you are engulfed in the majesty of space, a panorama you've never seen before. You can now see with your own eyes the earth from space. It will change your perception of life.

Then back to your reclined seat, gravity starts to return, and the pilot announces the glide back home... You've just visited space!

Several hundreds of people have already booked their ticket to space with Virgin Galactic, today you have the unique chance of joining this extraordinary elite club.

Prepare for the most incredible experience of your life and to see your world turned upside down!
